A compliance inspection is an inspection of your septic system to see if it complies with state and local codes and regulations.  Every compliance inspection is different, but here are some general things that are done in most inspections.

SOIL BORINGS are done at every site to see if the drain field meets proper soil separation.

HYDRAULIC TEST is performed to tell if the drain field will accept effluent
SITE REVIEW is completed after the hydraulic test to check for sewage seeping in the yard or a surface outlet

TANK INSPECTION is performed by pumpinbg the tank and inspecting for leaks or cracks

INSPECTION REPORT is completed and includes an asbuilt drawing, soil boring logs, etc.  All paperwork is reported to the local government within 15 days of the inspection.
